Labor Day Weekend...3 Days and Counting

I am super excited about this weekend. Three days of being in the sun and having fun with friends!!! Bring it on!

Awesome Weekend!

Saturday we spent with friends, Kerry and Carlene Friend and Daniel and Becky Hill. Bow fishing was so much fun this weekend at Oakland! Stan set a new record for himself: a 53" Gar! He shot it and it wrapped the line around the trolling motor, and then went it to small bushes under the water. I tried to shoot so that it wouldn't get off the one shot, but just couldn't get it done. But we managed to get it in from the water with Shania's help.

Missing the Lake time!

We weren't able to go down this weekend, and are having major withdrawals!

I discovered SHALLOT BUTTER!
